The residents of Hutton Roof, Newbiggin and Sealford are a very sociable lot and enjoy many get-togethers throughout the year. Most of these centre on the Village Hall and raise funds for its upkeep.

It is fair to say that most of the events also centre around food and drink, enjoying the fruits of each others labours and of local producers.
